| Fluoricide®, Defluoridation |
- Fluoride
removal media, low cost media.
- Advanced
Activated Alumina.
- Fluoride
absorption capacity: 2 Gram/Liter.
- Contact
time: 10 second.
- This
media remove Fluoride by Absorption reaction , (different from
Arsenicide) but enable to remove Fluoride with efficiency over
10 times than other existing Fluoride removing media in the market
.It was produced under our own Patent to create highest absorption
area (surface area) at both inner & outer surface to reach
over 200 square meters surface area per gram of Fluoricide (similar
to concept of activated carbon)
- Removing
capacity = 2,000 milligram of fluoride per liter of Fluoricide
media.
- Minimum
contact time for optimum removing = 10 seconds .
- Minimum
beddepth of Fluoricide media in the filter housing = 80 c.m.
- Regenerable
by special regeneration solution ; hold the regeneration solution
in the filter housing about 3 hours and follow with rigorous backwash
with plain water = 15-20 minutes .Suggested regeneration cycle
=every 2-3 months.
- General
lifetime = 1 year before changing with new media.

| Description |
There
are many soluble chemicals which sometimes have negative effects on human
health. One such chemical is fluoride. Fluoride is a very strong toxin.
If a person was to drink as little as 1000 mg. of this chemical. He would
possibly die. If one was to regularly drink water containing 1-2mg/L of
fluoride, he would be leaded to bone diseases and darkening of the teeth,
becoming brown or black in color. If one was to continue to drinking water
contaminated with high content of fluoride, the teeth and bones would become
hard, but would also be brittle and easily broken, Such tooth breaks can
be resulted by ice cubes, and bone breaks can happen by short falls. This
can shorten one's life. Dental fluorosis or mottled enamel in childen is
caused by drinking water with high content of fluoride. Fluoride content
of only 0.7 ppm may cause questionable levels of higher fluorosis levels
and fluoride intake of such high level will cause more severe fluorosis.
Fluorosis will cause enamel to easily break and lead to cause dental caries
(tooth decay) and stained teeth. The intake of very high concentration of
fluoride will finally cause skeletal fluorosis and may cause kidney stones
in the upper urinary tract. The effect of fluoride is show in the table
below.

The
production process of platinum catalyst is complicate and expensive catalyst.
It is used only in producing expensive catalyst. We apply this method, with
our own patent, in the production of Fluoricide™. The surface area
of the catalyst is over 200 sq.m/g. Our created catalyst is effective on
both inner and outer surface, while other catalyst is effective only on
outer surface area. The efficiency of our catalyst is 10 times higher than
other types. Fluoricide™ is a granular catalyst, for removal Fluoride
from water by putting it in normal water filter. The fluoride in water can
be eliminated by absorption system.
