ARSENICIDE®, Arsenic removal filter media: Arsenicide® is Heterogeneous Catalyst Media, capable for activation of soluble Arsenic compond into insoluble Arsenic compond which can be easily removed from the water. Arsenicide® use oxidizing reaction to oxidize and convert the soluble form of Arsenic into Insoluble form which will be easily removed or filtered from the water.   The minimum contact time needed = 5-10 minutes for oxidation reaction to take action with soluble Arsenic. The oxidation capacity of this media = 2,000 milligram of soluble Arsenic / 1 liter ofArsenicide®. Water that has been filtered by this media should afterward be treated by another sediment filter tank to filter remaining insoluble Arsenic. For optimum reaction: should place Arsenicide® with minimum media bed depth =70 c.m and design feed water velocity = 6-12 m/hr Optimum quantity of Arsenicide® content in the feed water = 8 ppm. If notice a decreasing performance of Arsenicide®, please regenerate the media with Sodium Hydroxide solution (concentraion = 1 kg/50 liters of water) and follow with rigorous backwashing with plain water for 15-20 minutes Suggested regeneration cycle = every 2-3 months Specifications:
